Flinders Drama Centre Graduates        
The Flinders Drama Centre professional acting and directing programs began in 1971 at the Flinders University of South Australia in Adelaide.
Graduates of the Drama Centre receive a strong grounding in performance theory together with a high level of technical skills and are considered "the intelligent
alternative" when it comes to artists. Drama Centre graduates have made a significant contribution to the entertainment industry both nationally and internationally.
They include Academy Award nominee Steve Knapman, accomplished theatre directors Benedict Andrews, Geordie Brookman and Catherine Fitzgerald,
stage designer Richard Roberts, Award Winning actors Nicholas Hope and Noni Hazlehurst, feature film stars Xavier Samuel and Victoria Hill,
award winning playwrights Melissa Reeves and Caleb Lewis, award winning TV writer Annie Fox, Helpmann Award Nominees Cameron Goodall,
Michaela Cantwell and Amber McMahon as well as popular TV personalities HG Nelson, Michael Pope and Nuala Hafner,
radio broadcaster and author Susan Mitchell and popular TV actress Melanie Vallejo.

Flinders Drama Centre graduates have been founding members of many different companies including Circus Oz, The Angels, Redgum,
Doppio Teatro, Red Shed, Troupe, Brink Productions, Red Stitch, The Border Project, Accidental Productions, isthisyours? and Five Point One.
